Product Overview
One of the oldest cultivated trees.
Olives are traditionally grown in Mediterranean countries, harvested for their Fruits, and Oil.
Although not considered hardy in the UK, mature plants regularly survive in a sunny, sheltered garden, especially in the South.
Can be grown in large pots or planted in the ground, preferably in a warm, sheltered spot near a sunny wall.
Although Olives are fairly drought tolerant, plants kept in pots should be watered more frequently to stop from drying out.
If grown in pots keep outdoors all year and move to a frost free position over winter.
Prune in early Spring to keep an attractive shape.
