Lova Plants – A unique production of plants, specific to one Family Nursery in the Netherlands, who in 2017 decided to grow some unusual, easy care plants rooted on volcanic lava stone from Asia.
These are highly decorative, and give a very modern feel displayed in your home.
Only several varieties of plant are used, Schefflera, Microsorum Diversifolium, Asplenium, Platycerium, Davallia, and Punctatum.
All varieties draw all of their required moisture and nutrients from the natural porous lava stone, and you only need to keep the attached ceramic reservoir 2/3rds full with, preferably, rain water. Tap water will eventually lead to a build-up of white deposits on the natural stone. Fertilise after the first year with a one quarter dose of diluted houseplant feed between April – October every time that you fill the container.
All types readily adapt to a shady position in your home, although natural indirect light will give you the best growth rate. Must avoid any strong, direct sun.
Minimum temperatures above 15c.
