Vigorous, early flowering clematis with a mass of highly scented large flowers up to 9cms across.
Clematis tolerate full sun to partial shade.
Plant in moist, well draining soil rich in organic matter.
Clematis need their roots to be kept cool and moist.
They are best planted in light shade, or given a good layer of mulch for moisture retention and protection.
Water regularly during hot dry periods.
Prune if required immediately after flowering.
