Citrus Calamondin
Also known as the Phillipine Lime, Calamondin are a cross between a Kumquat and a Mandorin Orange.
A small evergreen tree, with glossy green leaves. Delicately scented flowers are followed by a multitude of small yellow / orange fruits.
Generally grown as an ornamental tree, the small fruits can be eaten, or used in cooking, but are considered to be sour tasting.
Best grown outdoors when temperatures are above 5 degrees C, and over Wintered in a frost free position.
