Anthurium Veitchii - The King Anthurium is one of the most impressive species of the Aroid family.
The deeply veined, dramatically elongated leaves, which when mature can reach several feet in length, have made this rare beauty a highly prized plant collectors dream.
Native to Colombia, King Anthurium grow epiphytically ( a plant that grows attached to another plant ) on tree trunks and branches in the jungle canopy where it enjoys filtered light, temperatures between 18-27c, fairly high humidity, and frequent rainfall that quickly drains away from the roots.

Unlike other Anthurium Andreanum, the Flamingo Flower, King Anthurium is primarily grown for its dramatic foliage, rather than its flowers.
