Princettia – a new member of the favoured Christmas plant family, Euphorbia Pulcherrima. This new variety is more compact, and the vibrant colourful bracts are smaller and more bountiful. A really beautiful plant for the festive season, which can flower for many months. The colourful bracts are actually just vibrant leaves and the actual flowers are the small, yellow clusters in the centre of the bract.
Keep your Princettia in a bright place, at a comfortable room temperature, preferably away from any direct heat source, or cold draughts (although both conditions are tolerated far better than traditional Poinsettias)
Water from below approximately once a week, or as necessary to allow the compost to dry slightly between watering’s. Make sure any excess water drains away from the pot before returning to a saucer or cover pot, as overwatering will lead to the plant dropping its leaves and losing its vibrant colour.
