The Christmas Poinsettia
A really beautiful plant for the festive season, which can flower for many months, although the colourful bracts are actually just vibrant leaves and the actual flowers are the small, yellow clusters in the centre of the bract.
Keep your Poinsettia in a bright place, at a comfortable room temperature, preferably away from any direct heat source, or cold draughts.
Water from below as necessary to allow the compost to dry slightly between watering’s.
Make sure any excess water drains away before returning to a saucer or cover pot, overwatering will lead to the plant dropping its leaves and losing its vibrant colour.
