Kalanchoe Thyrsiflora, Flapjack or Paddle Plant, is a great choice for anybody who tends to forget to water their plants. Native to South Africa their natural habitat is routinely short of water, so they have adapted to survive. The round, fleshy leaves are grey-green, with a tinge of red around the tips when exposed to bright light.

Very easy plants to care for.
As a succulent it`s best to adopt a ` Soak and Dry` routine. Water thoroughly then allow to dry out completely between waterings. Never allow to sit in water.
Thrives in bright light to full sun. The leaves can become coated in a white powder, which basically acts as sunscreen, although too much concentrated sunlight through glass can cause sunburn.
Average room temperatures 18-24c, and night time temperatures above 10c is ideal.
Minimum Temperature: 10c
Aftercare:
Eventually your plant will form a large cluster of rosettes and will possibly flower.
Overwinter in a cool, sunny spot and water very little.
Can be kept outdoors once temperatures are above 10c.
Acclimatise by gradually moving it in to full sun, to avoid scorching the leaves.
Re-pot only when it becomes crowded in the pot, using only a slightly larger pot and good quality, free draining Cacti and Succulent compost.
Fertilise sparingly one every 3-4 months with a liquid cacti / succulent feed as per instructions.
